The short version
Your photos and videos stay on your device unless you use an AI tool. When you do, the media is sent to our servers only to perform the edit you asked for, and is not kept afterwards. We don't sell your data and we don't show ads.
Account information
PixelMe uses Firebase Authentication (Google) to sign you in with Apple, Google, or email. We receive your email address, optional display name, and a user identifier. We use these only to operate your account and enforce fair-usage limits.
Your photos and videos
Edits like cropping, color adjustments, drawing, and text happen entirely on your device. When you run an AI tool (object removal, prompt edits, sky replacement, style transfer, upscaling, transcription), the selected photo or video clip is uploaded to our servers and processed with Google's Gemini API to produce your result. Video files are stored temporarily while a job runs and are deleted automatically afterwards. We do not use your content for advertising or to train AI models.
Purchases
Subscriptions are processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Play Store) — we never see your payment details. We use RevenueCat to keep track of subscription status; it receives an app user identifier and purchase information.
Usage data
We count how many AI operations your account runs each day to enforce free and Pro limits, and we keep short-lived technical logs (request identifiers, error information) to keep the service working.
Data retention and deletion
Uploaded media is deleted after processing. Account and usage records are kept while your account exists. To delete your account and associated data, email umut@umuts.dev from the address you signed up with.
Third-party services
PixelMe relies on: Firebase Authentication (sign-in), Supabase (backend hosting), Google Gemini API (AI processing), and RevenueCat (subscription management). Each processes data only as needed to provide its function.
Children
PixelMe is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with an updated date.
